Funding - Where the Money Comes From....
RDA Whangarei relies on a combination of grants, donations, riders fees, rent, arena hireage and advertising to cover our operating costs of over $140,000 per year � and that doesn�t include R&M projects, capital works or replacement horses!
We are very fortunate to be the only RDA Group in New Zealand that receives Ministry of Health funding that covers wages for our Head Coach and Coach, Office Manager and Stable Manager. We have to apply every year for this funding and have to meet the MOH�s standards of service to qualify for it. We submit a quarterly report to the Ministry keeping them updated on our achievements.

Bequests
A bequest in your Will to Whangarei Group RDA, will ensure development and continuation of therapeutic horse-riding for people with disabilities, which will continue beyond your lifetime. Your lawyer can advise you how to arrange a bequest. All Legacies will be acknowledged.
